About the Company
Since 1980, Miller's Overhead Door, Inc., has been a family owned and operated business committed to providing outstanding products and service to customers in the following areas: Tidewater, Elizabeth City and the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We feel we can give customers the personal attention they deserve.
We believe in the importance of trust in our employees and insist that they take pride in their work. Our employees are well versed in all aspects of service, installation, and customer relations.
Keeping It "All In The Family"
In 1980 Ken and Elsie Miller established Miller's Overhead Door, Inc. Ken and his son's Michael and John would go into the field to service and install garage doors while Elsie would manage the office. That was 27 years ago and things have changed since then. Ken and Elsie have retired from the business and left three of their four children to manage the business. Michael Miller is Vice-President/General Manager of the company, John Miller is a Sales Representative, and Dorcas Bergey is Office Manager. The family ties continue on...Michael's wife, Annette, is Marketing Director and cousin Judi Leader handles in-house Sales and Service. Miller's currently has about 15 employees working diligently to be the best in the area.
We strive to carry the finest products and offer them at a reasonable price. Millers provides products from Amarr Garage Doors and Chamberlain LiftMaster openers. We have been affilated with Amarr for 19 years and feel they are a leading manufacturer in the garage door industry that stand by their products. We have been honored by Amarr with a Partnership Award, which signifies our commitment to them. We have installed LifeMaster openers for the past 19 years and have received numerous awards of excellence in sales and service. We take pride in our employees and the work they accomplish. We greatly appreciate comments, concerns, or suggestions from our valued customers.
Warranty
We guarantee all of our garage doors with a full year labor warranty from the date of installation. Our products also include a manufacturer's warranty, some of which are guaranteed for a minimum of 15 years to a lifetime warranty on steel doors for rust-through.
We also guarantee all of our garage door openers with a full year labor warranty from the date of installation. The manufacturer also has an additional warranty ranging from two years to a lifetime on the motor.
